Job Description

Summary:

• Develop, implement and manage website content for a product website.

• Work collaboratively with business, technology and design team to ensure website content is updated on an ongoing basis. Liaison between various internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to implement branding tasks, execute campaigns, and events.

• Responsible for maintaining & transitioning website to internal server and systems as needed.

• Must be able to work in a virtual team with a strong ability to communicate through standard documentation methods in an agile development environment. Must be willing and able to work a flex schedule to meet the demands of the position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Development & maintenance :Website updates & enhancements frontend & backend

• SEO, Marketing & Web Analytics related activities - Review statistics and monitor web analytics site, campaign & social media related; Hands-on working experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tag manager is a must. Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

• Social media backend management and tracking - Maintain & improvise the linkage to social channels and collaborate for working on social media and other campaigns

• Owns the online experience of website be it on website or any social channel

• Functionality enhancements as and when needed - Plan and implement future changes to the website stay current with software and hardware and implement necessary upgrades. Testing and troubleshooting

• Marketing and Campaign Management support: Maintain an inventory of advertisements and manage the ad server software.

Detailed Job Description:

• Maintain website for business

• Ensure the web server interaction, hardware and software are operating accurately.

• Design & implement updates to generate and revise web pages

• Monitor and analyze website traffic.

• Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website

• Create and modify appearance and setting of site

• Lay out content on web pages

• Manage mail client/plugin associated with website including dealing with volumes of email and re-directing to right owners

• Perform website functionality and UAT testing

• Collaborate with design team to agree on technical feasibilities of website design

• Ensure responsive design is developed, implemented and tested. And that the website functions well on various browsers, form-factors, devices and OS platforms.

Skills:

• Hands on with the LAMP stack : Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP

• HTML5 (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)

• Must be skilled at building table-free / table less UI layouts using semantic markup and CSS with a focus on usability.

• Should be aware of W3C Standards, Accessibility Standards.

• A strong command of cross-browser development techniques is required.

• Ability to integrate HTML with C#/.Net, Java based web applications in conjunction with various CMS

• Experience with AJAX or other frameworks is an added advantage

• Knowledge of design tools like Photoshop should be an added advantage

• Familiarity with integration to email systems

• Social media monitoring & management skills would be a big plus
